Calls for companies to disclose pay gaps

PRETORIA – The pay gap in companies continues to be a concern.
President Cyril Ramaphosa signed amendments to the Companies Act that will require organisations to disclose the pay gap between their highest and lowest-paid workers.
This crucial change aims to address public concerns about the pervasive inequalities in society.
